We’re closing out Season 14 with my favourite topic and a return guest! On the show today is a Canadian investing expert and creator of the Canadian Couch Potato — Dan Bortolotti. Dan is back on the show to talk about his new book, Reboot Your Portfolio: 9 Steps to Successful Investing with ETFs, which you know is right up my alley!

Dan Bortolotti is a former journalist, who was a full-time writer for magazines such as MoneySense. However, over a decade ago he switched careers and is now a portfolio manager and financial planner at PWL Capital in Toronto. Dan created his popular blog (then subsequent podcast) the Canadian Couch Potato in 2010 and has become one of Canada’s most trusted resources on index investing.

In today’s episode, Dan shares more about the inspiration behind his new book, Reboot Your Portfolio. We dive into where you should start when you want to make a change in your investment portfolio and the downsides to having so much access to your trades. This episode is jam-packed with info for anyone wanting to get started with passive investing or learn how to improve their current investment portfolio for the long term.

Also, I want to say a quick thank you to all the wonderful guests who joined me this season. Of course, another thank you to all listeners, thank you for tuning in each week and I’ll see you for a fresh new season in September after a short summer break!

I’m interviewing a duo on today's episode of the More Money podcast! I’m so excited to have fellow podcasters and newly published authors, Julien and Kiersten Saunders from rich & REGULAR on the show to talk all about their new book, Cashing Out.

Julien and Kiersten Saunders currently reside in Atlanta, Georgia, and are the couple behind the popular blog and podcast, rich & REGULAR. They also have a YouTube channel in which they produce an award-winning series, Money on the Table. Today on the show they’re talking all about their new book, Cashing Out: Win the Wealth Game By Walking Away.

In today’s episode, Julien and Kiersten share what rich and regular really means, as well as setting up a system for your money that gives you back the power over your life. They get into the nitty-gritty of why we should rethink how we approach growing in our careers, and why finding a community of like-minded individuals is the best thing you can do for your social life.

This podcast is no stranger to exploring the FIRE community and digging into what financial independence means to you. Today, we’re digging even deeper into how to find out if you’re on a trajectory toward financial independence and a program that can help you figure it out. Today's guest is Tyson Koska, the Founder, and CEO of OnTrajectory, the FI financial planning software tool that allows you to see your financial future more clearly.

Tyson Koska’s career started when he was a helicopter pilot for the U.S. Army. After he left the Army he switched gears and became a software engineer for 25 years. After experiencing some major life events that changed his own plans for his money he decided to make a program that would be able to take the guesswork out of financial planning. In 2018 he went full-time with his side-hustle, OnTrajectory, and hasn’t looked back since. In this episode, Tyson shares what inspired OnTrajectory and the key features it offers so that you can better plan your financial future.
